Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol (1928–1987) was a central American Pop Art artist, famous for his screen prints of media icons (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis) and consumer products (Campbell’s Soup), which question celebrity, reproduction, and capitalism. Around the Factory in New York, he also produced films, photographs, and editorial projects, permanently blurring the boundaries between art, advertising, and popular culture.
