This year, BASTIAN returns to Frieze Masters in London and presents an exhibition focused on the development of modern, post-war, and contemporary art in Europe and the United States. The presentation brings together a selection of exceptional works, including a pointillist painting by Achille Laugé, Max Liebermann’s late Impressionist flower boxes in the Wannsee garden, Cy Twombly’s photographs made in the Studio Gaeta (Detail Bacchus Painting), as well as an iconic self-portrait by Andy Warhol. At stand F13, the gallery also presents additional major works that underscore its long-standing commitment to artists holding defining positions within important avant-garde movements. On view are works by Jean Dubuffet, Achille Laugé, Max Liebermann, Emil Nolde, Robert Rauschenberg, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Cy Twombly, and Andy Warhol.
