BASTIAN is delighted to announce our inaugural participation at Frieze Masters 2021 in London’s Regent’s Park. To celebrate our participation at the fair, BASTIAN will present significant works by a group of ground-breaking German artists including Joseph Beuys, A. R. Penck, Gerhard Richter, Albert Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger, Ulrich Erben, Hans Hartung, Sigmar Polke and Ernst Wilhelm Nay illustrating the evolution of figuration and abstraction in German art of the post-war period. The thematic presentation speaks to the heart of the BASTIAN gallery programme showcasing outstanding works of art executed by artists that played a pivotal role in the development of the cultural sphere in post war Germany.
